Booking and Cancellation
Policy
1.
Reservations can be made
by telephone, fax, email or online (via website).
2.
A Credit or Debit Card
is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
3.
A secured booking represents a contract
between you and the guest house.
In the event of a cancelled booking,
provided you notify us at least 72 hours prior to arrival no charges will be
made.
If you fail to give 72 hours notice
then the deposit will not be refunded. Failure to arrive without prior
notification you may be responsible for the entire cost of the booking.
Curtailment of Stay:- No
refunds given.
4.
In respect of reservations made via
Visit York the deposit paid to Visit York is retained by them and not passed
onto the guest house. Therefore in respect of cancellations with less than
72 hours notice given to the guest house the balance of the deposit which
will be equivalent to the first night’s stay will be payable to the guest
house. Failure to arrive without prior notification you may be responsible
for the entire cost of the booking.

6.
Your account is to be
settled in full on day of arrival. Payment can be made either by
Credit/Debit Card or Cash.
7. All prices include VAT @ prevailing rate
8.
Check in is between 10am and 10pm.
If you wish to arrive outside these
hours please make prior arrangement with the Guest House.
9.
Guests are to vacate
their rooms by 9.45am on the day of departure.
10.
To ensure that all our Guests enjoy their
stay, Mont-Clare is
strictly non-smoking.
Should you choose to ignore this
policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your entire stay
plus an additional £100 for specialist cleaning to your room.
Payment will be taken from the card
used to secure the room.
11.
We
do not allow takeaways
etc in the rooms or on Mont-Clare premises.
12.
To maintain the high standards all rooms
are checked following check out.
The cardholder is deemed to be
responsible for their actions and those of any of their party.
Mont-Clare reserves the right to
replace, with new, any missing, damaged or soiled items.
Any additional cleaning incurred
will be charged appropriately and may include any cost for loss of business.
The cost of the replacement or
cleaning will be charged against the card used to secure the room.
13.
Sorry we do not take
pets.
You are deemed to have
accepted these terms and conditions by reserving/occupying a room(s).
