From the M1, M62 or A1 take the A64 (York/Leeds) towards York, take the York west sign A1036 past the Racecourse on your right.  Follow signs for Railway Station.  At the traffic lights with the Micklegate Bar in front of you, turn left past the Railway Station along Station Road, left under the arch and across Lendal Bridge into Museum Street.  Turn left at the traffic lights into St Leonard’s Place and straight across into Gillygate.  Take the second turning on the left into Claremont Terrace.  Mont-Clare is on the left.  Pull up on the front to unload your luggage and we will then show you where to park your car.

 From the A1 at Boroughbridge take the A59 to York.  Turn left onto the outer ring road (A1237) at 2^nd roundabout signposted A19 (York/Thirsk), take the A19 towards York and then follow above directions.

From the   A19 (North East / Thirsk) take the A19 towards York.  At approx 2 miles from the outer ring road, you will be in the City Centre.  At the traffic lights, with the archway of the Old City in front of you, turn left into Gillygate and then take the 2^nd turning left into Claremont Terrace.  You will see    Mont-Clare on the left.

From the A19 Selby come into York and after you pass the Mecca Bingo turn right onto the inner ring road.  Follow this road through 5 sets of traffic lights and at the 6^th keep on the outside last and come straight across the junction into Claremont Terrace.  You will see Mont-Clare on the left.
